On the night after Valentine’s Day, a celebration of modern chivalry will take place over a delicious feast of food and wine, to the accompaniment of dramatic swordplay, marvellous music and one or two Shakespearian lovers’ rows. There will be a demonstration of Bartitsu, or how to defend your partner using a bowler hat, a cane and an umbrella, and instructions on the useful Art of Modern Chivalry, or how to please a lady or gentleman without having to do anything, well, rude. Couples, groups and above all singles all welcome! Tickets from [email protected]
