We asked the original man-about-the-neighbourhood Clerkenwell Boy for his favourite spot for a working lunch.

“I'm a big fan of St John. They champion classic, seasonal British cooking at its best. You can pop into the bar and order daily specials from the blackboard or go all out with a three course meal in the dining room. Remember to save room for the freshly baked madeleines!”
