Preparations are well under way for this annual celebration of all things design. Here's the latest on Clerkenwell Design Week...

Design fans should mark 21 - 23 May in their diaries. Clerkenwell Design Week is back, with what is already promising to be three jam-packed days of events. Last year it attracted over 30,000 registered visitors and 239 brands from around the world, and 2013 is shaping up to be another vintage year for the festival. The Farmiloe Building will play host to exhibitors including Pinch Design, Bark furniture, Tilt and sustainable furniture makers MARK.

The House of Detention and the Priory Church of the Order of St John have also been confirmed as venues, showcasing work from pop-culture inspired Evil Robot Designs and handcrafted furniture from Hay-on-Wye's Barnby and day among others. Meanwhile, many of EC1'a showrooms are also on board for this year's Clerkenwell Design Week. Confirmed participants include Vitra, Knoll, Steelcase, Haworth and Howe. New arrivals in the area, including .IT It's All About Design and Camira are also joining in the fun.
