Hard to believe, but it's been 10 years since London introduced the congestion charge.

The Museum of London is marking the occasion with an exhibition of photographs of London's highways from 2001-2002, shortly before the charge took effect. Photographer John Davies captured iconic intersections including St Pancras, Marble Arch and Elephant & Castle from high up. The images at the Highways of London exhibition, which runs until 16 June 2013, give you an unusual vantage point on scenes that are still familiar – but also very much in the past.
