The streets around Smithfield Market will be packed with cycling fans for Britain’s biggest night time cycle race meet on Saturday, 7 June.

The Nocturne Series had a 15,000-strong crowd lining the 1.1km circuit for last year's racing, in which Tom Scully and Hannah Barnes triumphed in the elite races. But the Elite Women's Criterium proved controversial as Olympic double gold medallist Laura Trott (pictured at Nocturne 2013) was originally declared the victor ahead of Barnes in a photo finish. As well as the elite racing, the streets of Smithfield will be busy with Penny Farthings and folding bikes setting a slightly slower pace, and you can check out food stalls, bike exhibitions and live bands.
