Joan Armatrading is launching her first ever run of solo shows, including a Barbican date on 26 March, 2015.

Sadly for her fans, it's also going to be the singer-songwriter's last major tour in a 42-year career. The Grammy-nominated artist, whose hits include Love and Affection, Drop the Pilot and Me, Myself and I, is playing alone on stage with guitar and piano in order to "capture a unique memory for both myself and the audience". Her global six-month tour stops in Australia, Holland and Germany - and it actually ends at the Barbican, so it should be an emotional finale.
