Benedict Cumberbatch's Hamlet at the Barbican may be completely sold-out, but you can at least catch some of his finest screen roles at the venue’s cinema.

To coincide with the start of the three-month theatre run, you can see him in Star Trek Into Darkness (8 Aug) and catch him as Sherlock on 13 August. Other TV performances transferred to the Barbican big screen include Stuart: A Life Backwards (15 Aug), Parade's End (16 Aug) and Hawking (23 Aug). As his fans will know, Cumberbatch played Professor Stephen Hawking a decade before Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne.
