Spanish artist Oscar Tusquets Blanca is staging his debut UK exhibition in EC1 this autumn.

Hot Days: 50 Paintings and a Chair, which runs from 2-31 October in Room One, Berry Street, features oil paintings portraying female nudes in a space that will be architecturally designed by the artist. The exhibition will also feature Gaulino chairs he’s designed and customised. Born in Barcelona in 1941, Oscar Tusquets Blanca is an architect, designer, writer and painter. One of his most recognisable pieces is Dalilips, the iconic sofa he co-designed with his friend Salvador Dali in 1975. He was a founding member of BD Barcelona, which holds the rights to Dali’s furniture designs.
