Storytelling for all ages will be at the heart of London Metropolitan Archives' spring literature festival, Word on the Street: Lost & Found, from 12 to 20 May. Organised with the Foundling Museum and Ministry of Stories, the festival will highlight archive and museum collections through talks, creative writing sessions, readings, guided walks, drama and workshops.

Author Wendy Moore explains how she was inspired by archive material to write her historical novel, How to Create the Perfect Wife. Broadchurch actor Carolyn Pickles (pictured) is part of the line-up for the 20 May finale of readings and performances at the Free Word Centre (entry is £10).
