Relive the silent movie era at the Barbican in the coming months with a series of films featuring live musical accompaniment.

On 18 March, there‚Äôs a screening of Little Old New York (1932) starring Marion Davies (pictured), a Hollywood star who was also the mistress of newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst. A digitally restored version of The Call of the Sea (1927) will be shown as the closing gala event of the 2018 Kinoteka Polish Film Festival (29 March). The Suffragette (1913), one of the first films to bring the British Suffragette movement to the big screen, is on April 22
