Shaping the Future

What are the challenges and opportunities facing the capital? The Museum of London will be asking these questions and more in the year-long City Now City Future season until April 2018.

As it prepares to move to Smithfield in 2022, the museum’s vital role in the future of London will be part of the big conversation (architects Stanton Williams and Asif Khan will design the new building). The season will include large-scale public events, talks and debates about what it means to live in a global city. The main exhibition, The City is Ours, allows visitors to explore urban living through a range of digital and physical interactive elements and films. The museum also focuses on 25 projects that aim to improve life for their local communities in the capital.
