Visit Our New Arrivals

Design fans have long made a beeline to EC1 for its impressive array of showrooms. And this autumn the scene has had a revamp, with four leading brands moving into the neighbourhood…

Swedish workspace design company Kinnarps is also a new arrival in the area. Its new Turnmill Street space functions as a living, breathing example of how the company views the future of our workspaces and will also feature exhibitions. The four-storey space was designed by Kinnarp’s senior designer Tom White and Design 10, in conjunction with Professor Jeremy Myerson, director of the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design at the Royal College of Art.

Treviso-based furniture brand Arper has chosen London as the home of its new flagship showroom (above). The brand, which already has showrooms in New York, Milan, Cologne and Stockholm has chosen Clerkenwell Road for its latest space. The showroom was designed by leading architects 6a and constructed from different materials in shades of white inserted into a concrete shell to make a back drop for the furniture – Arper’s iconic chairs and tables.

Dubai-based Bagno has chosen Clerkenwell for its first UK space. Its 4,200 sq ft showroom gives ample space to display the brand’s bathroom designs over two floors, along with selected products from other brands including Aqata, Vado and Vogue. There are also workstations and meeting tables for interior designers to meet up with clients, and a sure-to-be-popular complimentary drinks and coffee bar.

Colour is king at Camira Fabrics’ new Britton Street showroom (above), with hundreds of fabrics displayed in colour-scheme order. The ground floor and basement space was designed by London-based interiors company Think Idea and includes a suspended staircase and recessed feature archways.

Furniture, design, art, wine, accessories, jewellery, food, Italian style and fashion all integrated in this contemporary store (above). Daniele Bedini, Italian Architect and professor at Royal College of Arts, and his partner Roger Walters, with their team, are opening on 1st December “.IT”, a new furniture showroom & wine bar where you will experience the Italian way to enjoy life.
